We had a mushroom trainer from a village come and train our community. As the first time of learning, we experienced some challenges in growing mushrooms. Yet, the knowledge, and the sharing of the working experience enabled our community to try something that can help to make income.
The training involved young people, and students including some of our staff. We have noticed the curiosity to learn new things in our community. We are aiming to connect the community with other resources.
Getting an opportunity to learn about implementing new methods in agriculture is not always available in our community village.
Therefore, we have been trying to invite experts and trainers to come and provide trainings to our community. We learned that the young people are more opening minded to learning new methods than the seniors.
