The excitement of an academic achievement from rural and urban areas might not be the same. For those in the village with limited resources , their academic success means a lot to not only themselves but also their whole community village.
This year three young girl passed their high school diploma exam in their village where our Living Water Farm is. They also attend some educational classes at our farm center.
Miss. Soch Sreyly is one of the passed students from Cheung Prey village, Cheung Prey community, Bathay district, Kompong Cham province.
She is very excited about her success. She and other two desire to continue their study college in the capital city Phnom Penh.
She and her twin sister, Sreyla help their parents work on the rice field during their free time from school. They believe that high education can lead them to brighter future and they can do something important to make a significant difference in their village.
We introduced women dormitory for them because we believe that this place will help them to come and know Jesus and receive the plans that God has for them.
The three gals wanted to study accounting subject for their bachelor degree in the capital city. We brought the to come and visit Phnom Penh for their first time. They were really enjoying the everything here. We thank God for John, our farm truck. It has been useful for transporting not only farming tools, but also being the blessing for others to get our kids and youth from the village to the city.
The girls showed their interests in attending our church services and serving in any ministries. We see that this is a great opportunity to connect them with great Christian women to help them know the Lord, and get saved.
They will seek an employment and save up first before they can enter their college. We believe that God will provide all they need.
We serve rural communities to be self-sustained, to enhance the local economy, and to equip the young generation to rise up.
