Youth and Mission – Salvations

Youth & and Mission team brought the gospel of the Lord Jesus to our farm village, leading quite a few people to their salvation.

A group of Christian youth from New Life Fellowship led by Dinna Chhoem, a Godly man who is very passionate about sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus to people went out to do the weekend outreach at Living Water farm.

We were planning for a Christmas outreach last year, but the Covid-19 restrictions halted our planning. We had to re-arrange our mission activity plans. We had been praying for a different date that the government would allow us to conduct an outreach in this community village.

On Saturday last week, we were able to reach out to 48 children, 40 youth, and about 20 senior villagers.  The team split into different tasks, fun activities, the gospel message sharing, and one on one counseling.

We also went to the village to distribute aid rice to senior villagers. We tried to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus with them by introducing the truth of God, and the salvation. We understand that the villagers are grounded in religious rituals. However, our God is almighty. He gave us the spirit of boldness to speak the truth to their lives. We could see the eyes and ears turning to the truth of God.  We managed to lead them to say salvation prayers, and helped them to accept the Lord Jesus.

Unfortunately, Satan doesn’t like it when people receive their salvation. One of the grandmothers reportedly died from unknown disease in the following  morning. We believe she was praying for her salvation with us when we closed our meeting. Soul was lost , but her spirit shall be with the Lord Jesus.

During the youth ministry, the team prepared dinner to serve these youth.  We cooked special food for them. The team members were assigned to sit in each table to talk to them more about Jesus, and prayed with them.

At the camp – fire at night, five youth decided to let us cut off the red amulets on their wrist. Then, we prayed for their salvation. What a joy to lead these youth to the Lord.

These youth are very open to the gospel. We planned to take them to the city to join Sunday church services so that they can attend any Christian foundation classes , and worship God.

We know that God has a big plan for this whole village community.
